Happy 1st Birthday Mr. Beard
..of all the images I could have chosen to recreate..
I woke this morning and told myself it would be a good idea to drive to Epic Espresso in West Perth. That would have been great if I could remember where it is located. Always check the address if you're uncertain.
How uneventful.
I also forgot about the French Film Festival opening last night. I've got to start using a notebook again in lieu of my memory.
Stevie Wonder's I Believe (When I Fall in Love It Will Be Forever) is an awesome song until he starts getting all religiousy. That always puts me off.
Yes, I like the song because of the movie adaptation of High Fidelity.
No I will probably never read the book.
You know I don't do fictional literature.

I've been filling a lot of time with people and other things that aren't what I'm meant to be doing. I find it interesting how easy it is to distract myself. Fun times.
While only a few weeks into the semester I feel the final burden pressing down. So many of us are unsure of what will become of our future. There is a handful though that seem to have it all sorted. It makes me wonder when the rest of us will.
Hours on my back listening to music and trying to come up with a grand idea. The idea, of course doesn't come. It doesn't exist. It is a dream. Grab an idea, grab a person, find an exit. There are plenty of choices.
My eyes are droopy and these previous sentences aren't too coherent. There was a point to posting but I guess I started rambling instead. Time for bed.
The sides of my beard are growing back slow and steady.

A mishap while trimming the side of my beard this morning has left me so very angry. Basically the attachment on the beard trimmer fell off and when I looked back up I was missing one side of my beard. I don't know if I should shave it all off or leave the mo and chin fluff while waiting for the sides to re-grow to the desired length.

There is a good deal of rainfall this afternoon. In the short walk from the carpark to the café I managed to get completely soaked. Usually I wouldn't care so much but my hair is getting long and seems to be not unlike a sponge on a rainy day.
This morning was spent digging soak wells. I really should only say soak well in the singular as we didn't actually finish even one of the nine needed wells. Though we did dig a mighty hole until I hit the phone line.
Last night the simple task of installing a projection screen to
aussiepoida's theatre wall turned into an ordeal spanning many hours. It is installed now and it is working (meaning it moves in both the up and down motions). We have a knack of having too much fun while working and I'm sure all of this tomfoolery doubles the time of any given project.
All of these activities give me a good idea of what I will want to pay people to do when I eventually take a leap into home ownership. I speak of a very distant future but a future nonetheless.
Last Thursday I got in my car and raced out to purchase Twin Peaks season 2. $74 later and I am a little more complete as a person. The special content on the discs is questionable. I am speaking of the lack of Log Lady introductions for episodes 8 - 18.
I combed my beard the other day, *shakes head* boredom makes us do strange things. I think I may need to buy a trimmer for it soon. Never did I think I'd grow this thing but there has been an oddly warm reception to its existence.
